Our Bible classes are for learning God's word and for developing spiritual growth. Our goal is for all young people to be able to learn and grow in God's word. To help these goals, we need the parents' cooperation, support, and understanding of our goals.
- Our Bible classes are not for playtime and babysitting. All the manipulatives in our Early Childhood classrooms are for teaching purposes only. The local church's responsibility pertains to the spiritual needs of the members. The classrooms are not there for children to run free and play in.
- Our teachers expect the parents' support in helping to maintain a calm and effective learning environment. Children with behavioral and disciplinary issues will be sent to the parents when the teachers deem it necessary.
- Our teachers expect the parents to see that their children are prepared for Bible classes. This may involve reviewing memorization assignments, such as Bible facts, Bible verses, etc. with their children, addressing any reported behavioral issues, ensuring their lessons are prepared, etc. These things will help the teachers be much more productive in teaching the young people.
- Parents have the primary responsibility of teaching their own children the word of God. Our Bible classes simply serve to help.
