Our ultimate desire is to simply worship God and glorify Him. We strive to be a congregation that follows the simple pattern of the New Testament church. In all that we do, the Bible is our foundation. We look to the Scriptures as our only source of religious authority and guide for faith and practice. You can expect all our teaching and sermons to be deeply rooted in the text of the Bible, the word of God. We revere and worship our God and our King, Jesus Christ.
Learning the Bible together is a high priority for us. As a result, we offer organized Bible classes for every age group—from young children through adults—providing an opportunity for focused study and discussion of Scripture. Click here to learn more about our Bible Classes.
We come together to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Our worship services are composed of the following elements:
The Reading of Scriptures: The apostle Paul wrote, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God..." (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is God's inspired word, and it is our sole source for knowing and following His will. Therefore, in every worship assembly, we dedicate time to reading and teaching His word to ensure we are thoroughly equipped for every good work.
A Cappella Congregational Singing: Following the New Testament pattern, we lift our voices in praise through songs, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing from the heart (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
Prayers of Praise and Thanksgiving: We offer prayers that express our deep gratitude to God and our adoration for Him (Philippians 4:6; 1 Timothy 2:1-4).
The Lord's Supper: Following the New Testament pattern (Acts 20:7), we observe the Lord's Supper (communion) during our assembly on the first day of every week. This memorial proclaims the Lord's death until He returns (Matthew 26:26-30; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). The Lord's Supper is offered to all who have been baptized into Jesus Christ (Acts 2:36-38; Romans 6:3-4).
A Message from God's Word: Our local preacher delivers a clear and thoughful sermon focused entirely on teaching the truths of Scripture, as the apostle Paul commanded (2 Timothy 4:1-4).
Collection of Funds: This offering is the responsibility of our members to support the Lord's work of this local church. As our guest, please do not feel obligated to contribute--your presence is the gift!
